Holiday Roundup at Catalyst Kids

Exciting things are happening at Catalyst Kids centers throughout the state! From Toys for Tots and Winter Coat drives to generous donations from local communities and exciting holiday activities. Here are just a few of the many fun activities.

California Highway Patrol contacted Catalyst Kids – La Escuelita in Oxnard to do a huge toy donation. Our very own Teacher Maria’s sister, Yanine Bernal, thought about us and gave us a call. They were kind enough to provide toys for every child in our center and a little bit extra. Yanine and Officer Navarro from Ventura CHP kindly came over within thirty minutes of that call and dropped off three huge bags filled with gifts for our children. Throughout the afternoon, we provided each child with a toy to take home and their smiles were priceless. We couldn’t thank the California Highway Patrol enough for the donation and the happiness they have brought to the children at our center.

Catalyst Kids – Nordstrom of Morgan Hill is organizing a winter coat drive with the assistance of one of our preschool parents. If you’d like to donate, get all of the details in the flyer below.
Preschool Posada at Catalyst Kids – El Toro. The children loved hitting the piñata. Parents participated by singing the traditional piñata song as the children took turns hitting the piñata.
Ms. Dottie at Catalyst Kids – Tremont helped the kids make ugly sweater vests using paper bags and decorations.
For this month’s parent involvement opportunity at Catalyst Kids – Beswick, we asked the parents to share their favorite family photo for a DIY ornament to put on our center winter tree. After the parents’ requests, a tree was generously donated by a parent.
Catalyst Kids – Tremont students are learning to make beanie hats.
Our annual White Elephant gift exchange at our Sacramento regional office!
Spreading joy at Catalyst Kids – Prairie! The children made 123 cards to drop off at a care home nearby.
