Celebrating Lunar New Year at Catalyst Kids!

Catalyst Kids hit the ground running in 2023 with post-holiday winter celebrations and activities. A few of our centers recently celebrated Lunar New Year by decorating and celebrating center pets.

Catalyst Kids – Patwin recently celebrated Poppy the Bunny’s 2nd birthday with a party. The theme was Lunar New Year, which was extra special since it is the year of the Rabbit! They had games like pin the tail on the bunny, paint your own bunny, and tons of delicious food! Poppy even had her very own frozen watermelon and berry cake.

Catalyst Kids – Stonelake celebrated Lunar New Year by learning about the rich culture behind the holiday during Performing Arts. The students listened to Chinese music and created fans. They later discussed how art is a medium that allows individual expression. Each student took the time to speak about how the activities made them feel.
